#Creators4Comics is a group of comic creators who are coming together to help save comic book retailers and independent bookstores by holding online Twitter auctions to directly benefit the Book Industry Charitable Foundation (BINC). BINC is taking applications now and they will start providing direct aid to stores at the end of April.

With permission, we are borrowing the successful and simple Twitter charity auction format used by #AuthorsForFireys, which raised over $500,000 to assist Australian firefighting efforts.
How does it work?
Creators/people run their own individual auctions by tweeting under the hashtag #Creators4Comics.
Twitter users scroll through the auction items under the hashtag and reply to individual item threads to place their bids.
The winning bidder donates directly to BINC and submits the proof of donation to the auctioneer to claim their item.

What are people auctioning and when does it start?
Our Twitter-based auctions offer everything from signed comics to artwork to unique events and experiences. Auctions last from Wednesday, April 15, 2020 to Monday, April 20, 2020 at 12pm EST under the hashtag #Creators4Comics.

How do i bid?
Use the hashtag #Creators4Comics to find an item you like and tweet your bid in the thread in increments of $1 U.S. or more. Keep an eye on the thread and make sure you’re the high bidder at the end of the auction!
While the official end time for the auction is Monday, April 20, 2020, at 12 PM EST (New York time) bidders must check each individual auction item for the exact end time. Auctioneers might have reasons for ending an auction early.
